Germantown

This historic neighborhood close to downtown has mimosas as big as your head and award-winning restaurants at every turn.

  • Distance from Downtown: 1.2 miles/8-min drive or scooter

  • The Vibe: Historic meets new. Germantown dates back to 1786 when mostly German immigrants moved to this part of town; however, you’ll also find new apartment buildings, the massive Nashville Sounds baseball stadium, and award-winning restaurants. There are a number of Black-owned businesses to support in this neighborhood, too: Germantown Pub, Slim & Husky’s, and EG & MC Cocktail Bar.
